Entering words or phrases (such as 'Soleil d'Or') and clicking on the "Find SJHRG pages with these words" button will present you with a list of all pages on the SJHRG site that contain those words or phrases. You can visit the page of your choice by clicking on its title from that list. You may also do advanced searches using the syntax presented below.
Search syntax:
The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses.
For example:
- planting roses
- finds documents containing 'planting' or 'roses'
- planting or roses
- same as above
- planting and roses
- finds documents containing both 'planting' and 'roses'
- planting not roses
- finds documents containing 'planting' but not 'roses'
- (planting not roses) and WAIS
- finds documents containing 'WAIS', plus 'planting' but not 'roses'
- ros*
- finds documents containing words starting with 'ros' such as rose, roses, rosarian, ....
